Grain Chute Occasional Table

My entry into this years Priddis and Millarville Fair was inspired by an antique grain chute that my dad acquired when the grain elevators in High River came down. The best photo wouldn't do this table justice as you have to feel the grain chute to completely understand how neat it is. Years of tumbling, rolling grain stripped all the soft wood from in between the hardwood rings leaving 'fins' of hardwood. It really has to be touched to be appreciated.
