Bowles Bedroom

I made a coffee table for Donna out of Nogal (Peruvian Walnut) quite some time ago so when she said that she wanted a platform bed with floating bedside tables made out of the same wood, I was pretty excited. Nogal isn’t the easiest stuff to work with (it has funky grain) but when it’s oiled followed byt 4 or 5 coats of poly, it looks amazing. There was delay after delay moving into their new house, but once the bed was set up, I think Donna was quite happy!
